The Senior Dev Identity Consultant is a hands-on technical delivery role focused on designing, implementing, and deploying Customer Identity (CIAM) solutions for clients across multiple concurrent engagements. You will serve as a trusted technical advisor — translating business requirements into secure, scalable identity architectures using platforms like Auth0, Okta, Transmit Security, and Descope. This role blends deep engineering skills with client-facing consulting and mentorship.
Key Responsibilities
- Hands-on implementation and deployment of CIAM solutions across multiple concurrent client projects
- Serve as a technical advisor during implementation phases, translating client requirements into actionable delivery workstreams
- Design and implement secure customer identity solutions using leading CIAM platforms (Auth0, Okta, Transmit Security, Descope, and similar technologies)
- Configure and customize integrations with client applications, third-party services, and enterprise systems
- Craft solution designs with attention to feasibility, scalability, and maintainability
- Perform hands-on technical configuration and troubleshooting of CIAM platforms
- Conduct workshops and implementation sessions with client stakeholders
- Guide and mentor client technical teams through implementation and knowledge transfer sessions
- Document solutions and maintain knowledge repositories for deployment methodologies and best practices
- Collaborate with internal teams and partners to address escalations and drive project success
- Act as liaison between clients and internal product teams to drive continuous improvement
- Contribute to the development and refinement of delivery processes and methodologies
Required Qualifications
- Strong software engineering background with proficiency in one or more: JavaScript/Node.js, Java, .NET, PHP, or REST/JSON APIs
- Deep knowledge of identity federation protocols and access control models (SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, WS-Federation, FIDO2)
- Hands-on experience implementing and configuring CIAM platforms (Auth0, Okta, or equivalent)
- Experience with enterprise identity lifecycle management processes and standards
- Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and communicate at both technical and executive levels
