About the role

As an Okta Workforce Identity Architect at Anthropic Identity, you are the most senior technical voice in client engagements. You own the solution design end-to-end — leading discovery, authoring architecture, setting technical direction, and ensuring delivery teams execute against your vision. You are trusted by clients as a strategic advisor, not just an implementer, and you play a key role in shaping how Anthropic Identity grows its practice and wins new business.

What you'll do

Lead architecture discovery sessions with client CISOs, IT directors, and identity program owners to assess current-state environments and define future-state identity strategies
Design comprehensive Okta Workforce Identity solutions spanning SSO, MFA, Lifecycle Management, Okta Workflows, and Okta Identity Governance (OIG)
Define tenant architecture, Universal Directory design, group structures, and application integration patterns across complex, multi-domain enterprise environments
Author solution architecture documents, design decision records, and migration playbooks that guide engineering delivery teams
Serve as technical escalation point during delivery — resolving complex integration challenges, edge cases, and architecture deviations
Advise clients on Zero Trust strategy, privileged access, and identity governance maturity roadmaps aligned to compliance requirements (SOC 2, SOX, HIPAA)
Lead pre-sales technical activities including RFP responses, scoping workshops, solution demonstrations, and effort estimation
Mentor engineers and provide technical quality oversight across concurrent client engagements
Contribute to internal practice development — reusable delivery frameworks, architecture templates, and methodology documentation
